Activities
DAY 1: HO CHI MINH – SA DEC FLOWER VILLAGE – TRAM CHIM NATIONAL PARK (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
06:30 – Pick up at your hotel in District 1 or The Sun Tourist Office (203 De Tham, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City). Depart for Sa Dec via the Trung Luong – My Thuan Expressway.
07:10 – Breakfast at a local rest stop. Your guide will share insights about the Mekong Delta and today's journey. Enjoy views of the Tien River and My Thuan Bridge.
10:00 – Arrive in Sa Dec and visit:
- Kien An Cung Pagoda – famous for its intricate architecture and sacred Quan Thanh De Quan statue.
- Huynh Thuy Le Ancient House – where the legendary love story between Huynh Thuy Le and Marguerite Duras unfolded.
- Tan Quy Dong Flower Village – the largest flower village in the Mekong Delta with hundreds of colorful species. Enjoy an electric car ride around the flower fields (own expenses).
12:45 – Lunch at a local restaurant in Cao Lanh featuring regional specialties.
14:00 – Check-in at your hotel and rest.
15:00 – Explore Tram Chim National Park on a traditional boat. Witness vast lotus fields, rice meadows, and cajeput forests teeming with birdlife.
18:00 – Dinner with Dong Thap specialties such as eel porridge hotpot, grilled catfish, and sour fish soup with dien dien flowers.
19:00 – Return to Cao Lanh, overnight at a 3-star hotel.
DAY 2: CAO LANH – GAO GIONG ECO PARK – HO CHI MINH CITY(Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)
09:00 – Breakfast and check-out. Depart for Gao Giong Eco Park.
10:00 – Explore the park, climb the 18-meter observation tower, and use telescopes to observe the lush
cajeput forest and thousands of birds.
12:00 – Lunch with regional dishes such as grilled snakehead fish wrapped in lotus leaves and sour fish
soup with river herbs.
14:00 – Depart for Ho Chi Minh City via National Road 1A and the My Thuan – Trung Luong
Expressway.
18:00 – Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City. End of the tour.
