Day 1: Phnom Penh Arrival
– Departing from Ho Chi Minh City by Bus
Welcome you at Phnom Penh International airport or Bus station from our professional guide and transfer you to visit Cheung Ek Museum (Killing Field in Khmer Regime), Tuol Sleng
Genocide Museum (S-21), is prison former in Khmer Rouge Regime. Then, we move to
visit Independence Monument, was built in 1958 as a memorial to Cambodia’s war dead
and to celebrate independence from foreign rule. Next, we move to visit Royal Palace,
inside of royal palace you will see Throne Hall (Preah Tineang Tevea Vinichhay), the
Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Silver Pagoda) that has more than 5300 pcs of 1.125 kilo
silver tiles are used to cover the floor of the Silver Pagoda and statue of Buddha is the
one that attractive because its 90 kilo gold body is studded with 2086 diamonds, Stupas,
Royal Dining Hall, the Chan Chhaya Pavilion and a French-style building that was a gift
from Napoleon III. After, we go to Central Market for shopping and move to hotel for
check in and free your own leisure.
Day 2: Phnom Penh-Siem Reap (B/-/-/)
After breakfast at hotel, we transfer to Siem Reap City that’s ancient city of Khmer’s
empire (Angkor City). On the way, we stop some places for visiting and relax such as
Spider and insect food market at Skun district of Kampong Cham province, then we
continue to visit Kuhak Nokor that was built in 10th-11th century by the king
Suryavarman I (1002-1050) and visit famer village; see how they live and work. After,
we relax at Prey Pros Resort, is a lake with fresh water that come from Tonle Sap Lake.
Afternoon, we continue to visit Kampong Kdei Bridge. It was built in the 12th century
during the reign of king Jayavarman VII and used to be the longest corbelled stone-arch
bridge in the world, with more than twenty narrow arches spanning 285ft (87m). After,
we go through to Siem Reap City for hotel check in and free your own leisure.
Day 3: Siem Reap (B/-/-)
After breakfast at hotel, we visit Angkor Wat temple. It is World Heritage, a Hindu
temple complex built to replicate the heavens on earth and the largest religious
monument in the world. The temple was built by the Khmer King Suryavarman II in the
early 12th century in Yasodharapura, the capital of the Khmer Empire. After, we transfer
out of city about 35 kilometers for visiting Banteay Srei temple (citadel of woman). It
was built in 10th century and largely of red sandstone, a medium that lends itself to the
elaborate decorative wall carvings which are still observable today. And then, we move
back to relax at Srah Srong
Afternoon, we continue to visit Ta Prohm. It was built in the Bayon style largely in the
late 12th and early 13th centuries by the Khmer King Jayavarman VII and originally
temple name called Rajavihara. Next, we go to visit Bayon temple; is a well-known and
richly decorated Khmer temple of Angkor. It was built the late 12th or early 13th century
by Jayavarman VII. Bayaon temple stands at the centre of Jayavarman’s capital, Angkor
Thom. The Bayon’s most distinctive feature is the multitude of serene and massive stone
faces on the many towers which just out from the upper terrace and cluster around its
central peak. The temple is known also for two impressive sets of bas-reliefs, which
present an unusual combination of mythological, historical, and mundane scenes. And
then, we transfer back to hotel and free your own leisure.
Day 4: Koh Ker or Kulen Mountain-Tonle Sap Cruise (B/-/-/)
After breakfast at hotel,
Option 1: we transfer to Koh Ker temple (120 kilometers). It is Pyramid temple and
capital of Khmer’s Empire from 928AD-944 AD. Under Jayavarman IV the style of Koh
Ker was developed and the art of sculpture reached a pinnacle. A great variety of
wonderful statues were chiseled.
Option 2: Transfer to Kulen Mountain (about 60km). It is the big Tropical Tree of
national park, that you can enjoy waterfall, River of Thousand Linga, and Reclining
Buddha.
Afternoon, we move back to Siem Reap City and go through to Tonle Sap Lake (Largest
in Southeast Asia and the most abundant fish on the world); see floating village and enjoy
the beautiful sunset on Tonle Sap Lake. And then, we transfer back to hotel and free your
own leisure.
Day 5: Siem Reap-HCM city by Bus or Airplain (B/-/-)
After breakfast at hotel, free your own leisure until transfer to Siem Reap International
airport or bus station . The End!
